Sita Oh Sita Film

Finally a video I shot during 'Wah Wah Girls' theatre production directed by Emma Rice from Kneehigh Theatre for Sadlers Wells and Theatre Royal Stratford East, is out on YouTube for all to see. Petticoat Lane marketing in London, the video features almost 100 professional and non-professional dancers.

 

As an actress something 'Bollywood' is always something I've wanted to do so I was thrilled to be asked and jumped at the opportunity. The other character 'Kabir' was played by Shubhum Saraf, a fantastic actor and a lotta fun to work with. I was in my element shooting in bright sunshine on the first day giving it all the ol' Bollywood flavour. It was an honour to have a genuine Bollywood film/tv performer and top Bombay choreographer Javed Sanadi so I was pretty much in my element working with amazing people and the most inspiring group of dancers. Eventually, on the second day, as predicted the British weather reared it's wet head and in true British fashion ended up dancing and singing in the rain!
